Sarah Summers is a Los Angeles based songwriter and performing artist. Raised in Sonoma Valley, California, Summers began the development of her solo work in tandem to her collaboration with Sean Carscadden, Marty O'Reilly, and Andy Saks on their 2012 Blues/Americana album, "Broke The Moon". "Lovely Little Things" is the debut album of Sarah Summers in which she marries the influences of modern folk artists Johnny Flynn, Laura Marling, The Tallest Man on Earth, and The Wood Brothers with the blues of Sister Rosetta Tharpe and John Vandiver. Summer's lyrics reminisce of small town life and the stories untold within it. As a musician, Summers aims to explore the interconnectivity of human stories and the way in which words in music say more than the words alone.
"Heart Beats Here" is the second release from Sarah Summers, and is a brief collection of stripped down songs, telling stories of her experiences over the past year. It's an intimate glimpse into the song writing process and the life of this talented young artist. Please enjoy the tracks below:
